It's Just Time

It's just time that I post SOMETHING! I've been sitting around trying to think of something GREAT to post -- it doesn't HAVE to be profound... does it?

I just spent the last 10 minutes reading my granddaughter's blog. That, my friend, is what I mean when I say LIFE'S WHAT HAPPENS WHILE YOU'RE DOING OTHER THINGS!!! She's 13! My oldest granddaughter is 14!

WAIT! I just got married -- ALL THIS BECAUSE TWO PEOPLE FELL IN LOVE...

That brings up something else -- Amanda, my beautiful daughter, made me the most beautiful storyboard for my birthday last weekend. When I figure out how to post pictures, I'll post it. It's got so much of her dad and me in it... our personalities, our relationship, our motto. I just love it. He IS still the one... and that HAS to be a good thing!

I love January! I started my life in January, perhaps that's why I love it so much. But I tend to think it's more because it's a peaceful/restful month -- having just come through the busiest time of the year and now there's a little time to relax. Ahhhhh!!! I've spent the last few hours just sitting here -- thinking about life, sorting pictures, enjoying the fire and the decorations that are still up.

That's another thing I love about January -- the fact that the only decorations that really have to come down are the outside lights and the Christmas tree. The rest I leave up until March when the Spring decorations go up. That is IF there's time in March. If not, April it is.

I love to decorate for the seasons and try to do something for each season. It makes the house feel so warm and friendly.
